Karen’s nomination included commentary from peers, physicians and PDC leaders. Woodward’s empathetic nature and comments regarding her leadership were highlighted throughout: “When this nurse manager speaks, the physicians and providers listen! She remains current regarding the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing the organization.
