Dr. Tim Zimmerman grew up in Southeast Texas before moving to Utah to complete his undergraduate studies in Psychology and Brigham Young University. He then returned to Texas to obtain a medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Most recently, he completed a three-year residency in Internal medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Zimmerman is married, and he and his wife have 3 children. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family and enjoying all the outdoor activities that beautiful North Carolina has to offer.
