Priscilla Petrash grew up in Irving, Texas. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, where she was a student-athlete on the Division I women’s soccer team and helped lead the team to two Big 12 championships. At the University of Texas, she was named Big 12 All-Academic first team and was on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and the University of Texas Honors List for all four years. Priscilla later attended PA school at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where she received the Dean’s scholarship for outstanding students and graduated with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.

Following PA school, Priscilla worked in a busy family medicine practice in Coppell, Texas. In 2013, she moved to Chapel Hill, NC with her husband, where she continued her work as a PA in primary care. Priscilla is excited to be joining Carolina Family Practice and Sports Medicine.

Priscilla is married to John-Paul Petrash, a Ph. D student in political theory at UNC. They have one young son. In her spare time Priscilla enjoys running, playing sports, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
