Brett H. Foreman, MD, CAQSM

Dr. Brett Foreman graduated from college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed medical school at ECU’s Brody School of Medicine and residency at Moses Cone Family Practice Residency Program in Greensboro, NC. He was chief resident of the residency program and was honored with the George T. Wolff Resident Award given by the faculty to the senior resident who most embodies the care, spirit, and demeanor of a family physician. Dr. Foreman also completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Moses Cone and was the team physician for NC A&T State University.

Dr. Foreman has published articles in leading medical journals and lectured in a variety of medical settings. He has been honored by the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine for outstanding scholarship and research excellence. He has covered multiple sporting events including the ACC men’s and women’s basketball tournaments. Dr. Foreman currently serves as one of the team physicians at Leesville Road High School and as an assistant team physician for the Carolina Hurricanes, USA baseball, and the Carolina Ballet. He also volunteers at the Urban Ministries Open Door Clinic along with the other physicians at CFPSM providing health care for the uninsured and indigent.

Dr. Foreman enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, wood working, sporting activities, and auto mechanics.
